    3. Relying on the bugs in popular apps like WhatsApp, which receive and sort data sometimes from unknown sources, Pegasus can infiltrate a device using the protocol of the app. The victims do not have to do anything on their part and they may not have any idea regarding such attack.

    4. According to Guardian, Le Monde and the Washington Post, around 50,000 phone numbers that were linked to individuals are being targeted by clients of NSO – the Israeli parent company – since 2016.
